5 free WhatsApp Business features you've never used.

All free. Already sitting in your app. Almost nobody touches them.

If your business uses the free WhatsApp Business app, you're already paying nothing for a set of tools most people never open. They're not hidden exactly — they're just buried under a settings menu nobody clicks. Here are five worth turning on.

1. Catalog — a mini shop, right inside WhatsApp

You can list your products or services with photos, prices, and descriptions directly inside WhatsApp, without needing a separate online shop. To set it up: open Settings → Business tools → Catalog, then tap "Add product or service" for each item. Once it's live, you can share individual products straight into any chat.

2. Labels — a free CRM to sort your chats

Labels let you tag conversations — new customer, pending payment, order placed — so your chat list becomes a simple pipeline instead of an unsorted mess. Long-press a chat (or open one and tap the label icon) to apply a label, then filter your chat list by label from Business tools → Labels.

3. Quick Replies — saved answers, sent in one tap

If you're typing the same answer to "what are your hours" or "where are you located" every day, Quick Replies fixes that. Go to Settings → Business tools → Quick replies, save a shortcut (like /hours) with your full answer, then type / in any chat to pull it up instantly.

4. A built-in QR code — no third-party tool needed

Many businesses assume they need an outside app to generate a WhatsApp QR code. It's already built in: Settings → Business tools → Short link generates both a scannable QR code and a direct link. Download the QR code and put it on business cards, menus, or your storefront.

5. The stats tab — see what's actually being read

Under Business tools, there's a statistics screen showing messages sent, delivered, read, and received. It's an easy way to check whether a broadcast or a shared catalog item is actually getting opened, instead of guessing.

Worth five minutes

None of this requires an upgrade or a monthly fee — it's already in the app most Dubai businesses use every day. If you'd like help setting these up properly, or connecting WhatsApp to the rest of your website, send us a message.
